Clinical Training Specialist

Job Description
The Medication Administration Trainer will play a critical role in ensuring the safe administration of medication to our residents. This includes administering medication, training staff in safe medication administration, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have expertise in medication administration, physical capabilities to meet the demands of the role, and a trauma-informed approach.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication according to agency protocols and best practices.
- Train staff in safe medication administration and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in regular supervision with the Program Director and staff meetings.
- Document all contact, typical and emergency, while maintaining confidentiality of resident records consistent with Northern Children's Services and Department of Human Service contract standards.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Master's degree in social work, child welfare, or related field preferred.
- 2 years' experience in Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, or related social service field preferred.
Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
