About the Role

HTC America is seeking a highly skilled Visual Design Lead to join our VIVE Creative Labs team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing visual design systems across our XR product offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain visual design systems, including design principles, guidelines, and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and develop high-fidelity visual concepts, including UIs, prototypes, and interactive experiences.
  • Communicate design vision and strategy to stakeholders, including executives, designers, and engineers.
  • Contribute to the development of design principles and systems to inform and guide design decisions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in visual design, with a focus on XR and software product design.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, composition, color theory, and design systems.
  • Experience working with design tools, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design problems and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing for VR/AR/XR or other spatial experiences.
  • Familiarity with 3D software, including Unity, C4D, Blender, and Maya.
  • Experience with film editing, motion, and animation, including Premiere, After Effects, and similar tools.
