About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our construction and design team, you will be responsible for leading planning, design, and construction projects at multiple hospital campuses or clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and management control for planning, design, and construction projects
  • Ensure the successful completion of all assigned projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in managing planning, design, and construction projects in the commercial, education, or healthcare industries
  • 7+ years of progressive construction project management experience in the healthcare industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Advanced degree in construction-related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Healthcare Facility Management (CHFM), Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), American Society of Healthcare Engineers (AHSE), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), American Institute of Architects (AIA), or Professional Project Manager (PMP) certification
