Job Opportunity at River Crest Country Club

Job Summary:
The River Crest Country Club is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Club Houseman to join our Housekeeping Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our Club areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for our members and guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain indoor furniture, fixtures, and equipment, including dusting, disinfecting, and polishing.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, showers, and mirrors.
  • Clean and maintain floors and carpets, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
  • Sweep and clean patio areas and employee entrance hallways.
  • Replace burned-out light bulbs and perform light plumbing maintenance, including plunging toilets and replacing batteries in automatic flush devices.
  • Empty wastebaskets throughout the Club and report maintenance problems to the Building Maintenance department.

Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in floor maintenance and carpet cleaning a plus.
  • Prior light maintenance experience preferred.
  • Good member relations skills and attention to detail necessary.
  • Must present a neat and clean personal appearance and have timely, reliable attendance.
  • Must have a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors.

Work Environment:
The Club Houseman will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach is required. The use of cleaning supplies and chemicals is also necessary. The ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds is required.
