Position Overview


Reporting to the Fifth Avenue Club Suite Manager, the Fifth Avenue Club Consultant is tasked with cultivating their individual Personal Shopping business by delivering exceptional service in an exclusive environment, establishing new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts, and enhancing overall sales performance for the Fifth Avenue Club.

The Consultant is expected to consistently uphold company standards and protocols.

  • Ability to build trust quickly, demonstrate direct and diplomatic communication, possess strong listening skills, and foster cooperation with minimal disruption.
  • Creative thinker who approaches problem-solving with innovative ideas and entrepreneurial strategies.

  • Established connections within the community, having developed both personal and professional relationships in the local market.

Additional Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a luxury retail environment focused on customer service.
  • A strong passion for luxury fashion and lifestyle.
  • Experience in achieving sales targets and working with sales quotas in a commission-based environment.
  • A well-established network and/or client base across various social media platforms, with the ability to generate business through digital content creation.
As a Fifth Avenue Club Consultant, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Delivering a consistently high level of customer service by fostering and nurturing excellent client relationships.
  • Leveraging Club events to attract new clients, boost sales, and enhance existing client relationships.
  • Proactively sharing ideas with the Fifth Avenue Club team to identify and maximize individual business opportunities and sales potential.
  • Utilizing Saks Fifth Avenue's online client resources to maintain and record client information and preferences to drive business growth.
  • Sourcing products for client appointments through various Saks Fifth Avenue inventory channels, including flagship stores and digital resources.
  • Maintaining a strong digital presence to engage new clientele and promote business through traditional and social media selling.
  • Acting as a community and brand ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue.
The compensation range for this role is anticipated to be between $18 and $20 per hour. The offered base pay may vary based on several factors, including the candidate's market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional elements, such as commissions.
