Imaging Technologist

Job Summary
At Excelsior Orthopaedics, we are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team. As an Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in conducting radiological diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate computer and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts, under the supervision of a Radiologist.
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by assessing their needs and providing education.
- Record accurate chart notations in the Patient Information System and maintain records and files as directed.
- Prepare and store patient films according to department policy and procedures.
- Assist Physicians with Orthopedic casting procedures, including the application and removal of casts and splints.
- Perform routine examinations and treatment procedures, such as removing casts, cleaning wounds, and applying medications and dressings.
- Cross-train in clinical areas to support patients and providers.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle other duties as required.
Schedule:
- Monday: 8am-5:30pm
- Tuesday: OFF
- Wednesday: 12:30pm-9pm
- Thursday: 8am-5:30pm
- Friday: 8am-4:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am-2:00pm
- Sunday: OFF
