Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Overnight Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys.
  • Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
  • Process all check-outs, including resolving any late and disputed charges.
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
  • Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.

Marriott International Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $34.44 to $35.19 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health care benefits, retirement benefits, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits.
