About the RoleThis is a leadership position that requires a strong background in operations management, with a focus on overseeing the day-to-day activities of our field operations teams. As an Area Director Operations Support, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our operations teams, ensuring that they have the resources and expertise needed to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expertise and analysis to improve operations performance, focusing on collection and post-collection sites, as well as functional areas such as fleet maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Champion and support all company programs, with oversight of the Area Safety Director, Area Operations Manager, Area Driver Trainer, Area Post Collections Manager, Area Recycling Manager, and Area Engineering & Environmental Manager.
- Work closely with the Director of Operations to improve the performance of Supervisors, Operations Managers, and General Managers in setting priorities and goals to optimize operations.
- Identify favorable and unfavorable trends and opportunities to reduce operating costs across the area.
- Direct and coordinate operations programs and plans, including Blue Crew, emergency response, and disaster recovery efforts, as well as acquisition and contract start-up.
- Assist in the creation, development, and implementation of the company operations strategy and other company-wide initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and local site leadership to identify issues, lead root cause analyses, and develop remedial action plans.
We offer a competitive salary range of $200,000-240,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, vacation time, 401(k) with match, annual bonus, and employee stock program.
