Position Summary:
This role is pivotal in analyzing and supporting JD Edwards-based solutions. It facilitates the integration of technology into business operations, aiming to enhance operational efficiency. Specializing in JDE Supply Chain Management, the JD Edwards Solutions Analyst serves as a functional lead in this domain. Responsibilities include providing insights and assisting in the development and execution of business initiatives that bolster company operations and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Discrete & Lean Manufacturing, Product Data Management, Inventory Management, Shop Floor Management, Forecasting, Demand Planning, MRP & MPS, Material & Capacity Planning, Product Costing & Manufacturing Accounting, Quality Management, and Procurement.
- Act as a trusted business partner, delivering thought leadership, embracing digital transformation opportunities, and collaborating closely with business and internal IT.
- Experience in ERP implementation, including business requirements analysis, prototyping, system configuration, data conversion, integration testing, user training, and development of functional design documents.
- Familiarity with JDE Sales, Distribution, and EDI.
- Proficient in SQL queries, data extraction, and data analysis.
- Prepare test data to assist technical analysts in debugging and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with business teams to prepare test cases for CRP and iCRP testing.
- Provide functional training to business users.
- Maintain contact with JDE Oracle support for issue resolution.
- Gather business requirements, conduct feasibility analysis, identify gaps, define scope, and design solutions.
- Analyze, design, and document functional specifications based on business needs.
- Adhere to project timelines, prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate project status.
- Design menus, UXone UDO, BIP Output, E1 Batch applications, and E1 Interactive Applications.
- Conduct unit and integration testing for solutions.
- Support upgrade, migration, and integration projects as needed.
- Assist in daily resolution of business/system/user issues.
- Create versions, set processing options, and promote them to production.
- Coordinate with technical analysts and department managers to develop solutions for business challenges.
- Act as a liaison between end users and development teams, ensuring technology aligns with business objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across various levels of expertise.
- Engage with cross-functional departments to maintain positive communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- JDE Certification in Manufacturing is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP implementation.
- Experience with various JDE modules in finance, sales, distribution, and manufacturing.
- Experience in AS IS Analysis, mapping JDE with existing systems, user training, testing, and documentation of business processes.
- Strong analytical, design, and technical skills.
- Ability to process large volumes of information and extract insights to enhance systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve issues.
- Ability to propose solutions and negotiate in the organization's best interest.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and database management.
- Ability to multitask and take on various roles in team projects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Agile and adaptable to business changes.
- Ability to foster teamwork.
Travel Requirements and Work Schedule:
