Role: ERP Solution Architect

Location: Brea, CA (Hybrid)

Type of Hire: Full Time

Job Description:

  • Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage strategies for implementing and maintaining cloud-based ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure and other SaaS applications.
  • Compliance and Security: Develop methods for compliance architecture, including data storage and change control.
  • Create business requirements documents and draft technical specifications, ensuring robust test plans are developed to support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on related business processes, configuration, and data structures within the JD Edwards ERP systems and associated bolt-on applications.
  • Work closely with business-based Process Owners and Key Users to ensure that requirements are well defined and that solutions meet those requirements.
  • Research emerging solutions and technologies, creating assessments of key benefits and risks of changing technology.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, and/or development of new processes and policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS solutions.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in hands-on software design experience, preferably in Consumer Products or Food Manufacturing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior analyst role designing and implementing ERP solutions, specifically JD Edwards and Finance.
  • Strong experience with various software requirements definition, development, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse workforce and be comfortable working in culturally diverse settings and groups, with average travel of 20% of time.
