ERP Solution Architect Job Description

Sonata Software is a global technology company that specializes in digital transformation. We are seeking an experienced ERP Solution Architect to join our team.

Role Overview

The ERP Solution Architect will be responsible for evaluating internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes to suggest improvements. This role requires a proven experience as a Cloud Architect/Coud ERP Architect (SaaS) and the ability to develop and manage strategies for implementing and maintaining cloud-based ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes to suggest improvements.
  • Develop and manage strategies for implementing and maintaining cloud-based ERP systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration of cloud ERP systems with existing IT infrastructure and other SaaS applications.
  • Compliance and Security: Develop methods for compliance architecture, including data storage and change control.
  • Create business requirements documents and draft technical specifications.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the related business processes, configuration and data structures within the JD Edwards ERP systems and associated bolt-on applications.
  • Work closely with the business-based Process Owners and Key Users to ensure that requirements are well defined and that solutions meet those requirements.
  • Research emerging solutions and technologies and creates assessments of key benefits and risks of changing technology.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign and/or development of new processes and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS solutions.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience hands-on software design experience (preferably in Consumer Products or Food Manufacturing). A minimum of five years of experience in a senior analyst role designing and implementing ERP solutions, specifically JD Edwards and Finance.
  • Strong experience with various software requirements definition, development and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse workforce and be comfortable working in culturally diverse settings and groups and average travel 20% of time.
