Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team at AMETEK Sensors, Test & Calibration. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for running calibration hardware and software, scheduling and coordinating calibration and production material flow, and maintaining calibration facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run calibration hardware and software per defined work instructions in a production metrology environment.
  • Schedule and coordinate the calibration and flow of production material to meet shipping targets prescribed by the business unit goals.
  • Maintain calibration facilities, high pressure piping systems, and equipment as necessary to meet company goals.
  • Participate in the development and integration of specialized calibration instrumentation and techniques.
  • Calibrate assets and maintain accurate records for all equipment standards.
  • Maintain A2LA Cal Lab accreditation by preserving and improving operations.
  • Support initiatives associated with accreditation.
  • Prescribe and implement effective preventative maintenance programs to avoid premature failures.
  • Assist in maintaining clear, concise, and accurate laboratory records, technical reports, or work instructions as required.
  • Operate test hardware as necessary.
  • Maintain created quality records according to CEC's quality system.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communications skills; e.g., the ability to present and discuss test plans and results with other company personnel.
  • Comprehensive, working knowledge of the Microsoft Office PC LAN environment including: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
