Job Title: Calibration Technician

CAES Systems LLC is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team at our San Jose, CA facility.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform calibration and testing of electronic equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Test and calibrate electronic equipment to meet established standards and specifications.
  • Plan and execute testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment.
  • Identify and correct measurement errors, prepare calibration reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Disassemble and inspect equipment, using precision tools and instruments.
  • Measure parts for conformity with specifications, using precision mechanical and electrical test instruments.
  • Work from assigned schedules, track progress, and complete documentation and database entries.
  • Assist in removal of test equipment from test racks, documenting connections and reassembling test equipment when calibration is completed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting of equipment and develop, document, and maintain calibration systems and procedures.
  • Track movement of Government property in the facility and assist with locating customer assets during inventory.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Electronic Technology or technical trade school/certificate in Electronics Technology or 2+ years of calibration experience or RF/Microwave technician experience with high school diploma/GED.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain active secret security clearance.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work well with a team, and follow written procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy electronic equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
