About the Role

We are looking for a Staff Product Engineer to help us scale our new session replay offering by building new high-impact product features like heat maps. This role will drive the technology roadmap for integrating new forms of qualitative data into our entire product platform, lead the architectural design for new UI features and SDKs, and contribute to the technical direction of the team, product, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute and develop ownership around the front-facing parts of the system, including our application frontend and our SDKs, collaborating with backend engineers of multiple skill levels to create a holistic system.
  • Drive the technology roadmap for integrating new forms of qualitative data into our entire product platform.
  • Lead the architectural design for new UI features and SDKs.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of the team, product, and systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams to tackle the most important customer needs, craft creative user experiences, and deliver on ambitious timelines.
  • Lead engineering discussions and mentor others on engineering best practices.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience working in a product, front-end, or SDK engineering role.
  • Experience building UIs with modern tools like Babel and ES6, React and Redux, Webpack and Typescript.
  • Experience deploying, scaling, and managing high-traffic web applications.
  • Pride yourself in your excellent attention to detail and your design and UX sensibilities.
  • Value cross-functional collaboration and clear communication.
  • Experience working full-stack or managing a client SDK is a big plus.
Compensation

This role is eligible for equity, benefits, and other forms of compensation. Based on Colorado law, the salary range is $185,000 - $278,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission). Based on legislation in New York City, the salary range is $204,000 - $307,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission). Based on legislation in California, the salary range is $204,000 - $307,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission). Based on legislation in Washington state, the salary range is $185,000 - $278,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission).
