Are you passionate about leveraging data and analytics to drive growth initiatives? Nextdoor is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to democratize data and reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, pipelines, and dashboards for mission-critical data
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to track KPIs and drive strategy
  • Ensure data quality and freshness, addressing any issues and implementing alerting systems
  • Work cross-functionally with various departments to enable self-service analytics and data literacy
  • Participate in team building exercises and contribute to Nextdoor's inclusive culture
Requirements:
  • 5+ to 10+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics
  • Expertise in SQL and BI tools like Looker
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated experience driving projects end-to-end and collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Background in ad-supported sites with user-generated content
  • Experience in finance or product-related data
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or scripting languages
  • Experience with version control and agile workflows
