Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team at Kamehameha Schools. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your administrative expertise and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to division leaders, including preparing and reviewing documents, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Manage fiscal records, prepare expense reports, and reconcile budget reports.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive correspondence, project documents, and internal documents.
  • Coordinate division meetings, including meeting location reservations, meal arrangements, and agenda preparation.
  • Assist with employment-related documents and processes, including key employee searches and committee coordination.
  • Lead and coordinate organization-wide responses, including giving campaigns, community outreach, and service learning participation.
  • Coordinate and oversee division procurement processes, including purchase requisition preparation, purchase order coordination, and bid solicitation.
  • Perform a variety of administrative functions, including processing internal and external correspondence, maintaining operational files, and managing shared drives.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative or directly related work experience.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational and self-initiative skills to coordinate multiple assignments and tasks.
  • Working knowledge of microcomputers, including database, flowcharting, word processing, and spreadsheet software applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to perform assigned work projects in a professional, confidential, and competent manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Kamehameha Schools' organization, policies, procedures, and practices.
Work Environment

This position will be based in our Maui office and will require occasional work in non-standard workplaces.
