Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for tax return compliance preparation, building strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities to improve our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses, including forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1041.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client sponsors and grow our client base.
  • Assist in generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations, and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Contribute to the development of our accounting team, including recruiting, retaining, and training new professionals.
  • Ensure professional development through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or EA certification (or in progress toward certification) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in tax compliance, including preparation of Form 1040, 1120, 1120-S, and 1065 tax returns.
  • Proficiency with computerized tax software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong client rapport and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
