Senior Technical Professional, Systems Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Professional to support our Systems Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of complex systems engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of systems engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement systems engineering processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure project deliverables meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, technical reports, and other relevant materials.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5-12 years of combined experience in systems engineering, with a focus on complex systems and technical leadership.
  • Current Secret level security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience with systems engineering tools and methodologies, such as DOORS, Simulink, and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for systems engineering, including INCOSE and IEEE.
