Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Coordinate and track numerous legal matters of all types, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Document Preparation: Create, edit, format, and proofread documents, including agreements, contracts, plans, and other legal documents.
  • Communication: Communicate directly and on behalf of attorneys with third parties, including client representatives, other companies, and institutions.
  • Workflow Management: Create, execute, and monitor systems to manage client workflow, tasks, and documentation.
  • Document Maintenance: Organize and maintain various documents, appropriately storing them within our file management system.
  • Conference Coordination: Arrange and coordinate conference calls and client meetings.
  • Client Onboarding: Prepare new client matter requests and coordinate approval, conflict search processes, and new matter letters.
  • Financial Management: Review and edit bills and related reports according to client billing arrangements and facilitate prompt responses to client billing inquiries.
  • File Maintenance: Maintain electronic and paper files, adhering to Firm and client service team guidelines.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain and monitor attorney calendars.
  • Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and/or book travel arrangements.
  • Expense Tracking: Prepare, track, and maintain attorney expenses in Chrome River.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures is essential.
