Job Description

Overview:

Shure offers a challenging and rewarding internship program for undergraduate and graduate students. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience in product management, with a focus on cloud device management.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key competitors in the cloud device management space.
  • Analyze and document the features and capabilities offered by these competitive services.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing the findings, including market trends and potential threats or opportunities.
  • Map the features and capabilities of competitive platforms against Shure's cloud device management service.
  • Identify gaps in our current offerings compared to those of competitors.
  • Collaborate with product management to prioritize these gaps based on customer needs and market potential.
  • Work with product management to define new features that could be added to Shure's cloud platform to address identified gaps.
  • Develop detailed specifications for these features, including user stories, functional requirements, and technical documentation.
  • Define and document APIs required to implement these new features, ensuring they align with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field with an interest in product management.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to process large amounts of data and extract useful insights.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing, UC, and IoT technologies.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiar with API design and documentation.
