Key Responsibilities:
- Developing comprehensive electro-mechanical system architecture, specifications, and high-level design documentation
- Identifying essential interfaces among subsystems and facilitating the integration of advanced software-driven electro-mechanical devices
- Establishing system-level testing strategies, specifications, and protocols
- Performing hazard and failure mode analyses along with design mitigation strategies
- Collaborating with project management to meet design objectives, including product cost, dimensions, weight, and manufacturability
- Supporting project planning through accurate estimation of design efforts
- Providing insights on manufacturing process development and testing criteria
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in electro-mechanical product design

- Experience in defining requirements, ensuring standards compliance, and conducting testing
- Familiarity with first-generation product development, especially within the medical device sector

- Previous experience with disposable product design
