We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Services Coordinator to join our team at the Huron Area Center for Independence.

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the supervision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities within a community-based facility. This includes managing staff, developing and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs), and ensuring the provision of behavioral intervention strategies, recreation and leisure activities, work and employment options, social skills development, protective services, and funding responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage staff to ensure high-quality services are provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Develop and implement ISPs that meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, special education, psychology).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
