About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our Commercial Lines Department in St. Louis, MO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client support and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Lead meetings with clients, provide comprehensive support, and act as the main client contact for a book of business.
  • Account Management: Negotiate and sell lines of insurance, design insurance and risk management plans, and own audit, review, and claims processes.
  • Insurance Expertise: Manage relationships with insurance carriers, forecast industry trends, and review changes in carrier offerings.
  • Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, facilitate renewal strategy, and create complex risk-management strategies.
  • Client Strategy: Partner with industry and carrier experts to deliver strategy and solution options to clients and the broader agency.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Current Property and Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience as primary contact providing comprehensive client support to a book of business.
  • SME-level knowledge of available commercial lines coverages and industry trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-design skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
