Project Engineer

Brahms Construction is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with our project management team to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans to meet customer requirements and expectations
  • Build effective relationships with owners, subcontractors, and team members on a foundation of trust and cooperation
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and manage document control, estimates, and bid proposals
  • Support analysis in the bid evaluation and subcontractor selection process
  • Draft and distribute project documents, including weekly progress reports, submittals, RFI's, ASI's, and drawing revisions
  • Update and manage the procurement process to support the project's critical path
  • Participate in Owner and Architect meetings, drafting agendas and meeting minutes
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and coordinating the project schedule
  • Assist in change management documentation and coordination activities
  • Seek opportunities to assume Project Management responsibility
  • Advocate our culture of safety on all projects
  • Become advanced in the following applications: Bluebeam Revu, PlanGrid, & Microsoft Project
  • Occasionally travel to project job sites

Requirements:

  • Great attitude and a passion for learning
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
  • Self-motivation to accomplish identified goals with a strong sense of accountability for results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, trades, and/or related field(s)
