We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Division Director of Pediatric Nephrology at Children's Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for advancing the field of pediatric nephrology and enhancing our US News and World Report-recognized Top Ten Best Pediatric Nephrology program.
Key Responsibilities- Lead an elite team of clinicians, researchers, and educators in pediatric nephrology
- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the field of pediatric nephrology
- Collaborate with hospital and medical partners to enhance clinical, educational, and research missions
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and inclusion within the division
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve divisional goals
Children's Mercy is a nationally recognized, free-standing children's hospital founded in 1897 to provide care for the children of Kansas City. We offer comprehensive pediatric-related specialty care across nine clinical departments and centers. Ideal Qualifications and Experience- MD or equivalent and board certification in Pediatric Nephrology
- Current academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor
- A strong record of clinical and academic achievement
- Demonstrated success in advancing medical education, patient care, and research
