We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Division Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children's Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our academic department, you will be responsible for leading the clinical, educational, and research missions of our comprehensive pediatric emergency medicine program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the department's clinical, educational, and research goals
- Lead a team of faculty and staff to provide high-quality patient care, education, and research
- Collaborate with hospital and medical partners to manage emergency medicine workflow and ensure the highest value of care
- Foster a culture of high team accountability and professionalism
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve departmental goals
- MD or equivalent and board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Current academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor
- Strong record of clinical and academic achievement
- Demonstrated success in advancing medical education, patient care, and research
