Position Overview:
As a Senior Geotechnical Structural Engineer IV at Solvenow Inc., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our engineering projects. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the design and implementation of geotechnical solutions.

  • Evaluate geotechnical investigation findings, testing reports, and project scopes to recommend appropriate tracker pile specifications.
  • Establish and enforce standards for pile pull testing, conduct reviews for constructability, and oversee site-specific studies related to wind and corrosion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms for pile supply agreements, and draft contracts for various geotechnical services.
  • Coordinate pile pull testing for projects, lead efforts in corrosion design mitigation, and assist in the development of construction documents.
  • Manage design partners to ensure timely and effective project deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in geotechnical or structural engineering is essential.
  • Preferred experience includes a minimum of two years in solar construction.
  • Strong skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership are necessary.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple project tasks effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of construction law and standard business practices is beneficial.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and relevant web applications is required.
  • Exhibit a positive, professional demeanor and strong customer service abilities.
  • Ability to interpret and convey company policies to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in LPILE is necessary.
  • Familiarity with CAD software is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, including active listening and openness to diverse perspectives, are essential.
