Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

Join WEST SIDE FED SR as an Assistant Property Manager and contribute to the organization's mission of providing safe, affordable housing with supportive services. As a key member of the property management team, you will assist in the administration and management of the building, ensuring residents live permanently and as safely and independently as possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Supervision: Supervise front desk personnel and ensure 24-hour shifts are covered as per union contract.
  • Leave Time Management: Maintain all leave time requests and ensure personnel are cleaning and maintaining the front desk area.
  • Co-Supervision: Co-supervise maintenance staff and administrative staff, and assist in maintaining active personnel files.
  • Timesheet Processing: Process timesheets and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Meeting Coordination: Assist in staff meetings, tenant/staff complaints, and performance evaluations.
  • Minute Taking: Take and maintain minutes of all meetings.
  • Social Service Interface: Assist in coordinating with social service staff on various tenant issues.
  • Extermination List Management:
  • Recycling and Garbage Regulations: Enforce recycling and garbage regulations.
  • Rent Collection and Arrears: Assist in rent collection and arrears pursuit.
  • Purchases: Request quotes for purchases using authorized vendors and inspect deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, math skills, and computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Emotional and Physical Ability: Emotionally, mentally, and physically able to perform job responsibilities.
  • Experience: Prefer a minimum of two years of experience working with senior adults.
  • Education: Associate or bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.
