Executive Director

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization, Strafford Nutrition & Meals on Wheels, in achieving its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, from strategic planning to day-to-day operations.

About the Role

• Strategic Planning: Overseeing all aspects of the agency operation with a focus on strategic planning for the organization's future success.
• Financial Management: Development and monitoring of budget, making organizational decisions that meet budget limitations in conjunction with the mission statement.
• Fundraising: Responsible for raising agency funds through governmental applications, organizational grants, and other fundraising opportunities.
• Marketing and Outreach: Responsible for marketing and community outreach.
• Policies and Procedures: Development and implementation of policies, procedures, protocols, and practices as required by laws, regulations, and funding sources.
• Team Leadership: Lead teams to achieve operational excellence, identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, and build and maintain strong relationships with board members, donors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in management roles, preferably in the non-profit sector. They will possess excellent project management and operations management skills, exceptional leadership and management skills, with a focus on team building and collaboration, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or experience in lieu of degree.
