Job Summary:

As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform. You will analyze business requirements and problems and develop quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system requirements and identify program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.
  • Make recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code.
  • Recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities.
  • Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
  • Participate in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
  • Provide technical advice and assist in solving programming problems.
  • Write and/or review system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
  • Review test results; document test activities, and record remedial actions.
  • Ensure proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Modules (i.e., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/ SPM, GRC/ IRM, SecOps, Vulnerability Response, Service Portal, SAM Pro, Integration Hub, and/or Performance Analytics).
  • Development in JavaScript on the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Integrations (e.g., REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Orchestration, etc.).
  • Scoped Applications.
  • Flow Designer, preferred.
  • Integration Hub, preferred.
  • Service Portal, preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree; 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • May have one or more technical or business-related certifications.

Raymond James is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer for our ServiceNow Solutions team. The ServiceNow Solutions Team provides technology solutions and support across the entire Raymond James Organization built on the ServiceNow platform. You will be involved in portions of the full systems life cycle (based on experience/skills) and will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform delivered on time and within budget.

Occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.
