Job Summary

Cerbo is a high-growth healthcare SaaS company that supports holistic lifestyles and personalized medicine. We're seeking a skilled Data Imports Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our imports, data pipeline, and integration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust ETL processes for importing data from diverse healthcare systems and formats.
  • Develop and optimize data mapping strategies to ensure accurate data translation between different systems.
  • Create and maintain data quality checks and validation processes.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop new data import features and improve existing ones.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues.
  • Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data import processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with client success teams to support custom data migration projects.
Requirements
  • Deep experience with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
  • Extensive experience with various ETL platforms like dbt, Fivetran, and AWS Glue.
  • Proficiency in using interactive data mapping tools like Alteryx.
  • Strong programming skills in PHP or Python.
  • Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Experience with tools like Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
