Position Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and meticulous Order Preparation Specialist to become part of our team. This role involves the precise selection, packing, and preparation of orders for delivery and shipment, ensuring that all items adhere to Sheba Foods' quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate efficiency, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Order Selection:
    • Carefully pick items from the warehouse based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product, quantity, and quality.
    • Select products including prepared meals, packaged foods, beverages, and bulk items like grains and spices.
  • Packing:
    • Securely pack items into boxes or containers to prevent damage during transportation.
    • Utilize insulated packaging and dry ice for frozen meal orders to maintain product quality during shipping.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Examine all items for quality and freshness prior to packing.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations for all products.
  • Labeling:
    • Accurately label packages with shipping information and any special handling instructions.
    • Ensure labels are clear and properly positioned for efficient delivery.
  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Assist in monitoring inventory levels, noting any shortages or discrepancies.
    • Participate in regular stock counts and inventory assessments.
  • Workspace Maintenance:
    • Keep a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
    • Regularly sanitize work surfaces and equipment to comply with food safety standards.
  • Documentation:
    • Record and update order statuses in the inventory management system.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of orders packed and dispatched.
  • Team Collaboration:

Qualifications:
