Job Title: Managing Consultant

Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Life Sciences practice. As a Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for managing projects from cultivation to completion, leading team meetings, and guiding, managing, and coaching Consultants and Senior Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project activities, develop and manage work plans, staffing, deadlines, and budgets
  • Lead team meetings and provide constructive feedback on project participation and career development
  • Work closely with Directors and Managing Directors to keep them abreast of project progress and important developments
  • Participate in sales initiatives and practice development
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or related field
  • 5-7 years of Life Sciences consulting experience, with expertise in one or more therapeutic areas (Oncology, Cell & Gene, Immunology, Cardiometabolic)
  • Experience in managing project components, ownership of workstreams, and supervising, coaching, or mentoring others
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to leverage data to guide client and team decision-making
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
