This is a unique opportunity to join voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation, a leading supplier of custom roll formed metal components, as a Quality Technician.

The Role

">

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to perform inspections and help our operations team deliver quality products to our customers. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Perform Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.">
  • Problem-Solving: Participate in Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving Teams to develop process improvements and resolve quality-related issues.">
  • Inspection Equipment: Use knowledge of inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, Wizard, height gauge, and other tools, to accurately measure and inspect products.">
  • Data Entry: Enter quality data into computer systems and complete or prepare paperwork as needed.">
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.">

Work Schedule:

">

We currently have openings for 2nd shift and weekend day technicians. The work schedule may vary depending on business needs, but you can expect to work a standard 8-hour shift with some overtime as required.

What We Offer:

">

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance, vision, dental, life, short-term and long-term disability coverage, health-saving accounts, and flexible spending account.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience performing quality inspections and troubleshooting quality-related issues.">
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft products and manufacturing software, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.">
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.">

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with quality planning FMEA, Control Plans, Inspection sheets, and GD&T knowledge is highly desirable.
