Estimated Salary: $105,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Description:

As a Clinical Educator for Surgical Services, you will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and implementing staff development, continuing education, orientation, annual update, and competency evaluation processes, including remediation of staff. You will require a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center and demonstrate behavior consistent with our Core Values. You will support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement staff development, continuing education, orientation, annual update, and competency evaluation processes.
  • Remediate staff as needed.
  • Support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.


Required Qualifications:
  • Four years of nursing experience with demonstrated progressive teaching and communication skills OR five years of nursing experience with specialty certification AND Master's in progress.
  • Master's degree in related field OR Master's degree in progress.
  • Current valid California nursing License.
  • BLS.
  • Appropriate Specialty Certification.
