Behavioral Health Director of Clinical Services

Step Up, a nationally recognized nonprofit mental health and housing provider, seeks a Licensed Mental Health Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our DBH MHSA Housing Full-Service Partnership (FSP) program in San Bernardino County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise service team members to ensure quality care aligned with Step Up's mission and values.
- Oversee program outcomes to meet contract budget and revenue requirements.
- Direct day-to-day clinical operations and provide clinical support to team members.
- Coordinate client outreach and admission process with DBH and community partners.
- Implement Quality Assurance activities to meet Medi-Cal standards and protocols.
- Participate in internal and external meetings (DBH, QA, Continuum of Care committees).
- Manage day and on-call schedules, providing 24/7 coverage for clients.
Qualifications:
- Licensed LCSW or LMFT in California, registered with BBS.
- Minimum one year post-licensure experience.
- One year experience supervising a team providing case management/counseling to homeless individuals with psychiatric disabilities.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows applications and Electronic Health Records.
- Valid California driver's license and insurance.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of homeless services, Medicaid billing, and Housing First model.
- Expertise in DSM V diagnoses, assessment of functioning levels, and DBH documentation.
- Proficiency in evidence-based practices (EBPs) such as Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.
- Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care principles.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
