Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students based on individual education plans (IEPs). You will conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs, collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans, and maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy plans and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education to stay current with best practices in speech therapy

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Florida state licensure or eligibility for state licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working in a school setting is a plus
