  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including vendors and employees.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company equipment, facilities, and properties, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Assist in constructing fixtures and equipment for use in company operations, including woodworking, metalwork, and electrical tasks.
  • Operate gas or arc welding equipment to join metal parts used to repair or fabricate equipment.
  • Attend mandatory management and training meetings, as well as conduct department meetings monthly.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
  • Work collaboratively with Workforce Development and Social Services to provide participant services.
  • Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain agency confidentiality and comply with all health, safety, and fire standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One year of experience in construction and/or building maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass background and driver record checks.
