About the Role

Columbia Sportswear is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Part-Time Retail Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and engaging store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to consumer inquiries and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products, features, and benefits.
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging store environment, ensuring a clean and organized sales floor and visual merchandising standards are met.
  • Process cash register transactions efficiently and accurately, handling sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Support the Store Leadership Team in achieving sales goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred)
  • 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
  • Experience interacting with and serving consumers
  • Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools
  • 16 years of age or older
Work Environment
  • Frequently in a more active environment (i.e., requires the ability to constantly move about) that can be physical or strenuous (frequently adjusting/moving items weighing up to 40 lbs.), may frequently use specialized equipment, may have exposure to dust and noise.
  • Occasionally requires the ability to work in a place.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with others.
  • Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts.

Pay Range: $24.48 Expected Pay Range for Hire: $18.00
