Job Overview

We are seeking a Certified Plumbing Technician to join our dynamic team at ZPLUMBERZ Of Auburn Hills. This role is a significant achievement in your career, and we value the expertise you bring. As a Certified Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, training apprentices, and providing estimates for plumbing, sewer, and drain services.

Qualifications
  1. Possession of a Journeyman or Master Plumbing License
  2. Completion of Z PLUMBERZ Sewer and Drain Specialist Certification
  3. Successful completion of Z PLUMBERZ Image System and Sales Training
  4. Proficiency in executing plumbing, sewer, and drain tasks
Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage in maintenance, repair, and installation tasks as part of daily operations
  2. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to plumbing
  3. Perform manual labor associated with plumbing tasks
  4. Maintain and clean the assigned vehicle, ensuring compliance with registration, insurance, and inspection standards
  5. Provide training and mentorship to new technicians and apprentices
  6. Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition
  7. Fulfill additional duties as required
Skills and Knowledge
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in plumbing
  • Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Ability to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems
  • Competence in estimating time and materials for projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of effective training methods
Compensation and Employment Status

This is a full-time position with benefits, offering an hourly wage ranging from $25.00 to $30.00 based on experience.

Work Environment

Typical work hours exceed 40 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during unexpected situations. Daily hours may vary based on business needs.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to inclement weather and temperature extremes.

Educational Background

A GED or High School Diploma is required. Candidates will undergo drug, alcohol, and background testing, including DMV checks, prior to employment and at random intervals during employment.
