Job Description

Our client, a leading maritime systems and maintenance engineering company, is seeking a skilled Naval Architect to join their team.

This is a hybrid role with 4 days onsite at the USCG HQ in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will perform design review and assessment of structural viability for the USCG boat fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement shipbuilding specifications, drawings, and acquisition documents
  • Evaluate structural analysis to ensure compliance with government and industry standards
  • Conduct hydrostatic calculations and assessments for weight estimates and stability

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine, Ocean, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with vessel design, construction, and repair
