About the Job:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Maintenance Technician with small engine experience to join our team.

As a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment utilized in our operations.

Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in optimal condition, promoting safety and efficiency in our operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, ensuring that repairs are conducted accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs completed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Keep up to date with industry advancements and participate in training programs as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a shop environment.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or formal training in automotive or equipment repair.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of vehicles and equipment.
  • Familiarity with computer diagnostic systems.
