Job Overview

Position: Support member inquiries through various communication channels including phone, fax, and email, focusing on loans and account services. Promote the services and products offered by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate, friendly, and professional service to all members and prospective members. Ensure timely responses to all inquiries.
  • Recognize opportunities for cross-selling and effectively promote services to members.
  • Maintain up-to-date member account information in the database.
  • Ensure that all necessary records are kept and reports are generated as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Performance Metrics:

  1. Provide professional and timely phone service to all members and potential members.
  2. Process member transactions with a focus on accuracy.
  3. Maintain a professional environment within the department.
  4. Offer financial information to members through various communication methods and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  5. Maintain regular attendance as scheduled.

Qualifications:

Experience - A minimum of one month to one year of relevant experience.

Education - A high school diploma or equivalent.

Interpersonal Skills - The role requires significant personal interaction for conflict resolution, relationship building, and collaboration. Discussions may involve sensitive information, necessitating discretion and tact.

Additional Skills - Excellent verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, is required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently while demonstrating initiative and sound judgment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial. A proactive approach toward members and colleagues is expected.

Physical Requirements - While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to:

- Move around the work area

- Reach, grasp, and sort materials

- Communicate effectively in person and over the phone

- Read and interpret small font communications

- Lift a minimum of 10 pounds
