Operations Support Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Hobbs & Associates, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of field operations, coordination of logistics, and technical support.
Responsibilities- Operational Support:
- Provide on-the-ground and remote support to field teams to ensure efficient execution of field operations.
- Coordinate with the Field Operations Manager to schedule and deploy resources effectively.
- Monitor and report daily operational activities and address any issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, including team assignments, equipment use, and project statuses.
- Logistics and Inventory Management:
- Coordinate transportation, tools, and equipment needed for field projects.
- Manage inventory of equipment and supplies to ensure that field teams have the necessary resources.
- Assist with logistics planning to support field projects, including scheduling, procurement, and vendor relations.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between field teams and the home office to relay information, updates, and operational challenges.
- Develop and maintain relationships with field team members to foster open communication and a positive working environment.
- Provide real-time updates to management on field progress and escalate issues when necessary.
- Compliance and Safety:
- E nsure field operations are conducted according to safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular safety checks and provide feedback to improve protocols and prevent incidents.
- Assist in training field staff on safety and operational procedures.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document field activities, job status, and other relevant data in company databases.
- Prepare and submit routine and ad-hoc reports to the Field Operations Manager.
- Assist in the analysis of field data to identify trends and suggest process improvements.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a field support, logistics, or operational support role.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with database systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and learn new software or equipment as needed.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel to various field sites as required.
- Capability to lift, move, and set up field equipment as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Identifies and addresses issues promptly, finding practical solutions under time constraints.
- Communication: Maintains clear, concise communication across different teams and levels of management.
- Adaptability: Able to quickly adapt to changing field conditions and operational demands.
- Teamwork: Works collaboratively with field teams and internal departments to achieve common goals.
- $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
