Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Farmington Hills, MI to find a skilled Accounting Assistant. This is a direct hire opportunity that requires on-site work. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain reconciliations of corporate reimbursements and vendor allocations.
  • Maintain general ledgers, including reconciliations of key accounts.
  • Process journal entries, such as accruals and reclasses, to ensure accurate books and records.
  • Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable postings to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and track management fee calculations.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience or a satisfactory combination of work experience and education.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, particularly during month-end close.

Benefits:

  • $24 - 26.50/hour (non-exempt/eligible for overtime)
  • Business casual dress code
