Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to provide essential support at our Stamford clinic on a per-diem basis. This role involves assisting physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals in conducting physical examinations and various procedures. This position is ideal for healthcare practitioners who are passionate about preventive care and thrive in a collaborative environment.


  • Conduct Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other medical assessments
  • Perform blood draws
  • Measure and record vital signs, including pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height
  • Document patient information accurately
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient assessments

Qualifications:

  • Experience in phlebotomy
  • Current membership with AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
  • A minimum of two years' experience in the healthcare field
  • Familiarity with EKGs and other medical assessments
  • Certification in Basic Life Support
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and web-based applications
  • Commitment to a preventive health lifestyle

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $27, influenced by the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills.
