Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a per-diem basis. This role is essential in providing support to physicians, registered nurses, and other team members during physical assessments and various procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals who are passionate about preventive care and enjoy collaborating with a dedicated team of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other medical evaluations
  • Perform blood draws
  • Assess vital signs, including pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height
  • Document patient information accurately
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient assessments

Qualifications:

  • Experience in phlebotomy
  • Current membership in AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the healthcare sector
  • Familiarity with EKGs and other medical evaluations
  • Certification in Basic Life Support
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and web-based applications
  • Commitment to a preventive health lifestyle
