Job SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for meeting clinical, administrative, and financial performance metrics. This position requires implementing, delivering, and ensuring the highest quality of patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, prioritizing their needs and delivering personalized care.
- Collaborate with the care team to select suitable treatment plans for all patients, ensuring effective and efficient care.
- Supervise staff to ensure the care team is providing appropriate care in accordance with their duties and obligations.
- Assist other care providers and extended care teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide continuous availability for medical and technical questions to the employees, patient care staff, and ancillary care providers, including after-hours coverage.
- Participate in quality improvement programs and multidisciplinary quality assurance programs to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure improvement of patient care and outcomes.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high standards of care.
- Provide general medical care and treatment to patients in the health center under the direction of a physician, as required by state regulations.
- Submit healthcare plans and goals for individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by physicians.
- Prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy or inhalation therapy, as necessary.
- Refer patients to physicians for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment, as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Must be Board Certified.
- Must be licensed to practice in the appropriate state.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Proficient in promoting the clinic and its services.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- May require standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Includes full range of body motion, including potential handling and lifting of patients.
- Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
The base pay range for this position is $71.50 to $82.23 per hour. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will be eligible for 401K.
