Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team at Healthpro Heritage, LLC. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic assessments and therapeutic treatment to pediatric students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to address students' speech and language deficits
  • Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine students' need for services or dismissal from services
  • Participate in the IEP process to develop present levels of performance, goals, and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for speech therapy services
  • Provide speech therapy sessions using current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
  • Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA's code of ethics, including daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Current license to practice in the state of Louisiana
  • Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
