**Job Summary:**
The Patient Accounts Representative is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring accurate billing and efficient claims processing. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a high volume of claims.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Review and edit claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Follow up on outstanding claims to achieve timely resolution
• Maintain accurate records and reports to track A/R performance
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
• Ensure A/R greater than 90 days is less than 20% of the overall outstanding A/R
**Requirements:**
• 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on billing
• 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on billing, preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in business administration or a related field, preferred
• Not applicable for licensure or certification
**Work Schedule:**
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• No weekend work required
• No call requirements
